Patricia Neighbors has served as a mentor to me since high school. She was the Associate Music Minister at my church growing up. We met frequently through out my time in the youth group over dinner or just chatting in her office. When I went away to college we continued to meet during breaks for "marathon meals" in order to catch up. We never seem to run out of things to talk about. She has always been a HUGE source of encouragement and wisdom. She is great in giving me perspective on things in life that don't always make sense. It has been awhile since we have seen and caught up with one another, so I was THRILLED when we were both at a surprise party for a mutual friend. She got to meet the boys for the first time. I was so glad I had my camera so I could get some pics of my boys with one of my favorite people.
